In August 2001, the Guild will be sponsoring a double booth at the annual Art in the Redwoods Festival in Gualala, California. This exhibit will raise funds for the Gualala Arts' Studio Discovery Tour and preview the artists who will be showing their work during this annual event.

The Discovery Tour event is sponsored by the Guild and is held on two weekends beginning on Labor Day. 15,000 color brochures are printed and distributed in July to promote this event. To secure a free copy, please send an eMail request to: garts@mcn.org or mail your request to:

The North Coast Artists' Guild has been putting on this annual event for 4 years. The Guild was founded in 1997 by Marji Ingersoll and Rosemarie Schwager as a part of Gualala Arts to better serve the needs of the local artists. We have over 90 members. Our activities include: annual studio tour, art festivals, artists' internet list serve and web site, exhibitions, meetings, lectures, portfolio reviews, quarterly newsletters and more.
