Ted Noble paints landscapes in true, transparent watercolor as his sole
medium. Both wet on wet and wet on dry techniques are usually combined in
each painting, using large, loaded brushes. The style is realistic but
very impressionistic at the same time. The artist's aim in any work is to
capture the true essence or feel of the subject by means of brush stroke
and color.
