I have been studying art under the direction of my father for about six
years. Influenced by art all my life, I've always had the goal of
becoming an accomplished artist. The modern style of my father's work and
those who show with him has influenced my work greatly. Working at getting
an abstract yet realistic look to my paintings I use objects people are
familiar with, altering them to some extent to look abstract. My art is
the vehicle through which I express my emotions. Most recently I have
been inspired by people's faces and have used the expressions on them,
lighting, and coloring to express myself.
