Angel
Lauren Sinnott

She is one of three equal goddess/angels/muses constructed, painted and erected under the eaves of my house in Point Arena. They are slightly smaller than life-size and are all three made from two sheets of 5/8" plywood. Each angel has three planes and is painted front and back in exterior latex house paint coated with marine varnish. Each has wing reinforcements and a rain channel running down her cleavage and out between her toes!
This angel represents Strength. Her costume is based on the clothing of Minoan priestesses from ancient Crete.
These angels would be equally beautiful on the exterior of a home or hanging inside in a high space.
Price of a comparable angel: $5,000
